my dream world

I wrote this as a writing prompt.

Everyday in my dream life, I would awaken to the sounds of birds chirping and the sound of the breeze rustling through the trees. I would have a porch or a sunroom where I could go sit in an old rocking chair and sip my morning tea as I greet the new day sun.

Wrapped in my afgan my Grandmother made me I would sit and knit or read or dose until late morning. In the afternoon, I would tie on my walking/hiking boots and go exploring. Sometimes for shells on the beach. Or maybe for colorful leaves in the forest. Just letting myself absorb the world around me. And letting the world absorb me too.

In the evening, I would settle by the fireplace with a good book, or a good friend for a long philosophical discussion. Or you could find me creating in a rainbow colored studio with a sky full of fluffly white clouds painted on the ceiling.

And each morning I would begin again. Living each moement as I choose. With warmth, comfort, relaxation, succulence and love.
