this weekend has been just what I needed. just when I was feeling at the end of my rope at work, a 3-day-weekend!
and it was so nice to have it all to ourselves. nice car rides, beautiful weather, no "plans".
today we drove up to the Vanderbuilt mansion in Hyde Park, NY. The weather was warm and perfect. And it was so relaxing to just walk around the grounds and enjoy the scenery.

Sometimes it's those little moments we need to get us back on track...I enjoyed moments like those on my 3 day weekend as well, cheers =)
